Early Intervention & Play-Based ABA Programs
Montessori-inspired learning for little ones beginning their therapeutic journey
Receiving a new diagnosis can come with many feelings — relief, uncertainty, hope, questions. You’re not alone in this moment. At Peak Learning Centre, we welcome you and your child with open hearts, gentle guidance, and programs built to nurture growth through curiosity, play, and connection.
Our Early Intervention program is designed for young children who are just beginning their developmental and therapeutic journey. We believe every child learns best when they feel safe, understood, and supported — and play is often the most natural way for little minds to explore the world.
Our Approach
Our programming blends play-based ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) with Montessori-inspired learning, creating an environment that respects developmental readiness, independence, and joy.
Through this integrated model we:
-
Follow the child’s interests to create meaningful learning experiences
-
Support communication, social readiness, emotional regulation & early academics
-
Build confidence through hands-on activities and purposeful play
-
Encourage independence, decision-making, and self-initiated learning
-
Create a therapeutic environment that feels warm — not clinical
Children are unique learners, and their therapy should reflect that.
Our sessions may include:
-
Play-based skill building
-
Early communication + language development
-
Turn-taking, sharing & social foundations
-
Fine and gross motor exploration
-
Sensory-friendly activities and regulation tools
-
Practical life skills and Montessori materials
-
Early academic readiness (pre-literacy, numeracy, matching, sorting)
We celebrate progress in small steps — a new word, a shared smile, a moment of calm, a play interaction that wasn’t possible yesterday. Growth doesn’t always look big, but it always matters.
Family-Centered & Gentle Transition
We know the first step into therapy can feel overwhelming. Our team is here to guide you with care.
We offer:
-
1:1 or small-group sessions
-
Gradual transitions for new learners
-
Parent training and coaching
-
Individualized treatment plans
-
Collaboration with daycare & school teams
-
Regular communication and progress reviews
Our goal is to make your child’s entry into support smooth, positive, and empowering — for both children and their families.
