Parent Training Services
Being a parent is hard. Being a parent to a neurodivergent child comes with even more questions, emotions, and challenges. Our Parent Training program is here to help you feel less overwhelmed—and more empowered.
Whether your child is enrolled in services at Peak or not, we offer one-on-one, coaching tailored to your specific family goals. We don’t hand you a binder and wish you luck—we walk with you through it.
What We Cover
Each session is customized, but common areas of focus include:
Managing challenging behaviours
Reinforcement strategies that work
Increasing communication and independence
Navigating transitions or routines
Supporting emotional regulation
Toilet training and daily living skills

If there’s a skill or behaviour you’re struggling with, we’ll help you understand it—and know how to respond.
How It Works
Eligibility: Open to all families; no service enrollment required
Format: 1:1 sessions, delivered in-person or Virtual,.
Frequency: Based on your availability and goals
Materials: Vary by family need; customized resources may be shared
Recordkeeping: Summary notes may be emailed upon request
Peak offers on-demand parent training modules for flexible, self-paced learning from home.
Funding & Payment
Parent Training is eligible for private or government funding. Families are responsible for securing their own funding, but Peak accepts all legal forms of payment.
